I have been doing preschool with Jackson since September...I have been meaning to blog about it but just haven't gotten to it until now. We are doing preschool with Gina and her son Tristen. She also has a little girl about the same age as Madi, so we take turns teaching the boys and playing with the girls. I really love teaching the boys but it does take a lot of preparation and energy to keep up with them so hanging with the girls is really nice too.
Jack and Tristen are learning numbers, colors, and shapes--which is mostly review, the days of the week, letters, weather, and pledge of allegiance. It is so cute to watch the boy put their hand over their heart and say the pledge of allegiance--especially when the say wrepubic and indiviswable...super cute!
The best part of preschool is the boys are LOVING it! We had to skip for the first time last Thursday due to sickness and the boys were depressed. Jack didn't even want to do a project with me because Tristen wasn't with us. Jack is also loving the learning. He is recognizing letters all over...it is fun to get excited with him.
For one of my lessons on the letter F we talked about Fall. So we went outside and spotted the signs of fall and played in the fall leaves. The Saturday before Jared collected all the leaves for us.

Fun!
A friend of mine is doing "nature preschool" once a week, all outside. Your "F"all lesson would've fit right in!
It looks like so much fun you're all having - and I love that windblown look on Jackson :)
Can't wait to see you in a couple of months!
How fun and those pictures are great of Jack getting blown by the leaf blower! What a great yard you have and it sounds like joy school..are you using their curriculum or do you make it up yourself? What a great thing to do!!!
