Christmas Morning

Christmas was so exciting for me this year. Jackson totally got the whole concept of gifts, Christ's birth, Santa, etc. I enjoyed him asking if Christmas was here yet, playing with the manger and the baby Jesus, gathering all his animals around to see the baby Jesus, asking what his presents are, and if he could open them. Such excitement!!

Jack woke up at 4:00 am on Christmas ready to open his gifts. Unfortunately, for him, he had to wait. He ended up falling back asleep until we woke him at 10:15 am. The whole family was patiently waiting for Jack to wake up (that was a first) so we could see his reaction. All the waiting was worth it!! He LOVED opening his presents and he was so happy with his gifts. Madison also loved opening gifts. She could care less about the actual gift, she enjoyed opening them one tiny strip at a time.

He was all smiles. How could you not want to give this kid gifts! SO FUN!!

Madi loved helping clear out the smoke from the burnt food in the oven!
