So I thought that maybe it might be good to give an update on our current mold situation. Its been nice to read your responses, and to hear others express their utter and complete disgust at the great things were growing under window sill. This picture is of the sill, all the yellow stuff you see is essentially the base of the mushroom, and the cut out spot in the wall is where it was growing out, so everything essentially spread out from that central area.

This is a picture of what the wall looked like after it was torn away and all the mold was taken off the top of th sill, the stuff on the cement wall is still some of the mold. You can see how wet it was even though we haven't gotten any rain/snow or had the sprinklers on in a long long time.

Here is a close up of where the majority of the mold was growing down the wall, and once again notice how wet it looks.

So the solution was to clean up all the mold, take out the infected wood under the window and replace it. So Chad (seen pictured) was our wonderful resident carpenter who has done all the work. My favorite was after Chad had removed all the wood form under the window and we had a great 3/4 inch gap as seen in the picture. But don't worry Chad sealed it up tight for the night.

And here so Aunt Nicole doesn't yell at us, this is a picture of Jack at the table for easter dinner.

And here is another one of our little guy just before he gets his pj's on at night.
