For Family Home Evening we have been learning the Latter-day Prophets song and the kids are loving it...well we all are actually. Learning this song has come at a perfect time, the kids are recognizing the prophets names as they are used in conference...and it is SO exciting for them!
| These are the kids favorites...Jack likes President Snow's face and Madison likes President Smith's name. It was Jack's idea to pose with their favorite Presidents. |

Madison's face in the second photo cracked me up! She is so cute. :)
For some reason the video was of Madi, not Jack?
SOOO cute! Great job to the kiddos and great job to their teachers :) I love how her voice suddenly got higher at the end :) Such cuties - we'd love to try skype again this week - we meant to earlier but Jacob's accident threw us off for a few days :)
Then here's a perfect family home evening game for you. It's called 'Don't eat the Prophet!", based on 'Don't eat Pete!'. You may have heard of it, but if not, here's a semi-long explanation... we have printed smaller pics of the prophets, about 2"x3". We set them out in order and put a Cheerio on top of each one. One of the kids goes out of the room while the rest of the family decides which prophet is "it". Then we start singing, "Latter day prophets are #1, Joseph Smith" ... and so on... that's the person's que that they're to come back in the room. They start to randomly pick the cheerios off the prophets in random order. {meanwhile we're still singing} When they come to the prophet the family has chosen, we say/yell, "Don't eat the prophet!". It's funny and a game of suspense. Repeat until you're deaf;).
We also just learned a fun way to remember the apostles names, in order. So fun.
