We had a wonderful birthday celebration for Madison's 3rd. Grandma and Grandpa made it for the festivities and for Emerson's blessing. We started the day with a fun trip to Memorial Lake. The kids loved the paddle boat...as you can see Madi took front seat.

| While the boys were out saving the world from villains the girls beautified the birthday girl. This was probably the best moment of the day. Jack bought Madi pink polish, and she was totally thrilled to have pink nails. She watched me intently as I painted each nail. She even showed the guy at the store her nails...very proud! |

| We ate all of Madi's favorites: strawberries, blueberries, corn-on-the-cob, rotisserie chicken from Costco, potatoes, and sparkling cider (her absolute favorite). What a feast! |

| Madison notified me that she wanted a butterfly cake with gummy bears on top. This was six months ago when Jack asked her. She stuck with that decision for six months even with much persuasion from an older brother who thought that it should be different. |

| Madison could not be persuaded to eat with a spoon...nothing better than cold ice cream between your fingers. |

I can't believe she is already three. Such a big beautiful girl who is strong and has gone through alot. Her Aunt Kaitlin sure loves and misses her and wishes I was there to give her kisses. Happy Birthday Madison!!!
